We all want clean and safe spaces around us. Our public polling discovered that a staggering 86% of people think littering is a disgusting habit yet only 15% of us would actually confront someone and tell them that.

Taking pride of the areas we live and work helps to build better communities and save money. This is why from May to October we trialled a new approach to tackling littering on Villiers Street, Westminster, using the latest thinking on behaviour change and awareness raising from around the world. We also think there's a role businesses, government and media can play in making our streets nicer places, read our 5 point manifesto for change.

Neat Streets Campaigns:

What we learnt

We learnt alot about what works and what doesn't. For example we've learnt that features need to be big and bright to stand out on a busy street, so we added bold graphics and colourful bins. Learnings from Neat Streets will be shared at an event at The House of Commons on Wednesday 2nd December. Get in touch to request an invitation.
